In addition to the enjoyment of eating asparagus the asparagus season in Terlan offers a much deeper engagement with this spring vegetable.
During hikes and bike tours you will get in touch with asparagus farmers, wine producers and asparagus hosts and learn interesting facts about the cultivation and processing of the noble vegetable. In addition, you will discover the beauty of the surrounding area and enjoy delicious asparagus dishes at the various Terlan asparagus hosts.

The Terlan Asparagus Season is a Green Event, which is planned and implemented according to sustainability criteria. Help us to make our speciality week as environmentally friendly as possible!

Asparagus tour by bike

Round trip with our own bicycles from Terlan via Vilpian to an asparagus field. In the Terlan winery we enjoy a various Terlan wine and various asparagus delicacies. At the end we will find ourselves in a selected restaurant for an asparagus lunch (asparagus with ham and Bolzano sauce as well as 1 glass of asparagus wine).

Dates: 30th April 2024, 7th May 2024 and 21th May 2024 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Asparagus-themed walks

This full-day tour takes participants on a journey of discovery in asparagus fields and to asparagus experts who impress with all kinds of interesting facts about asparagus. Culinary enjoyment is also not neglected during the tasting of asparagus dishes.

Looking over the shoulder of the asparagus farmer

Learn from the asparagus farmer interesting and hidden facts about the royal vegetable.

Dates: every thursday, starting at 10 a.m. (4th april, 11th april, 18th april, 25th april, 3rd may (friday), 9th may, 16th may 2024)

Yoga in the asparagus field

Together we experience ourselves on the yoga mat and in nature. We practise yoga together in the midst of the asparagus fields. On the one hand, we direct our gaze inwards and, on the other hand, enjoy the unique nature. Afterwards, we end the morning with a cosy asparagus brunch with specialties.

Dates: 27th april 2024 and 4th may 2024 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Art exhibition

The works of the artistcan be seen from April 24th to May 26th, 2024 as part of the Terlano asparagus season in the gallery in the restaurant Zum Hirschen in Vilpian. The exhibition is open all day and freely accessible.
